My personal favorite is Snowmobiling or Timber-sledding.
These High Horse power machines will whisk you through the super deep snow with amazing grace and take you to the most remote untouched areas of Summit County. From there you’ll have the ability to seek those unbelievable mountain views.
Another favorite is back-country touring.
I use my split-board and skins to trek through some of the most untouched snow you can find. With this setup, you can basically go over anything in your way, to cross streams, go over fallen trees and even over boulders. What a peaceful way to escape the craziness of downtown. Amazing trails and untouched powder are accessible right from the High Country Lodge.
You can’t really complete either of these activities without an amazing soak in the most private hot tub in Breckenridge.
