It is kind of a no-brainer, but it is amazing how many guests still use vrbo to book their rental home. Or worse, use vrbo to book their wedding.
Vrbo is maybe a good place to get ideas, like the High Country Lodge, but their system makes it is impossible to communicate any details. And that’s especially true since vrbo will not let you exchange phone numbers.
It’s funny to me how many guests have a hard time connecting the dots. They want to force booking a wedding over email. This just does not make sense to me because there are so many details that just can’t be included in an email.
So as a heads up, read the vrbo ad and see the name of the lodge. Then Google the name of the Lodge, and if they are at all really into hospitality they will have a website that is directly connected to someone who cares, and who has a phone number so you can make a personal connection.
I understand using email to get the conversation started, but for us at A High Country Lodge, there are so many details we want to discuss with you, you need to make a phone call. Plus it really lets you see how happy we are to make your special day a great success.
So, for those that can do this… contact me directly I will offer at least a 10% discount over vrbo and no booking fees. And, btw, the booking fees for my last guest who booked through vrbo were $3500. Why pay that?
Plus, another amazing deal I only offer to direct bookings is to free daily ski passes valued at over $600/day.
Sound good? Good.
We look forward to seeing you here at A High Country Lodge in lovely Breckenridge. So give us a call!
