All leaves have fallen and the temperature is still touching the seventies, with the bright blue skies and long vistas, winter is still a distant memory.
I just love it when we get an extended summer. As a kid growing up here in Breckenridge, it used to snow in the summer and start sticking to the ground by September. I remember losing many a yard tool until next spring. But this year has just been a beautiful warm season.
The Aspens were just amazing. Their fall colors were some of the best I can remember. Maybe because we had some rain, actually it rained quite a bit, which is so much better than the alternative.
As we get closer to November, I am sure it will begin to change, but when you actually get a summer, that is OK with me.
