Our family of 16 enjoyed a week-long stay at High Country Lodge. The house is handicap accessible, with an ensuite bedroom on the same level as the parking area. We found the beds comfortable, the house was very clean, and well stocked with linens and kitchen items. The owner Patrick was very responsive and great to work with! I gave 4 stars rather than 5 only because the house, due to its age and solid wood construction, doesn’t appear to be insulated between floors. This means noisy plumbing and hearing everyone’s steps. Bring earplugs to help ensure a full night’s sleep. Overall, I recommend this property for larger groups.
