Terrific hosts, Patrick and Petra were accommodating and flexible with our special requests! The lodge suited our family ranging in age from 2 months to 61 years old over a 7 day period. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, while the game room and hot tub provided it’s own entertainment. The sledding and toboggan trails on property were groomed to excellence and our grandkids were able to enjoy throughout the day. The living room featured a fireplace which was a wonderful environment for our our family to converse and share stories. The laundry facilities were accessible and available throughout our stay. The home is well equipped with 3 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers, certainly a benefit with a large family. With the sidewalks shoveled and the parking areas plowed, it felt very safe. We saw moose and foxes, a memorable experience. Our family works within the hospitality industry and this experience rates in the level of our 5 Star properties. Patrick also doubled as our shuttle bus driver and was extremely accommodating to our various pick up/drop off requests ! Lots of individual beds in a house with a unique layout ! Would recommend for any large group.
John Alexander2023-01-30Enjoyed a great week in Breck at the High Country Lodge. Patrick was great to work with and very accommodating for our large group of 33 people. He takes great care of the property and even plowed the driveway early every morning so we could get first tracks on the slopes. Perfect location if you're skiing Breckenridge, Copper, or any of the nearby mountains. Would definitely recommend, and hope to be back next year!

Couldn’t have done that anywhere else in Breck! It was exactly as pictured and thank you Patrick for being super communicative and making the whole stay seamless

Patrick and Petra gave us outstanding service coupled with privacy. The Prime Rib dinner was delicious. They even provided group transport to and from Peak 7 lifts. Outstanding! Can’t wait to visit again.

Everyone agrees that High Country Lodge is now in "First Place" as the best vacation ever. Patrick and Petra are fabulous hosts, and the Lodge is perfect for large family gatherings. We will definitely return, and highly recommend to anyone. You will not be disappointed.
